The words 'Edward 3' appear in the top margin. The date 1330 and the initials 'BA' appear in the margin. Red rubrication and an illuminated initial ' N ' introduce the tale of Sir John Turnetabard. The scribe has erroneously copied an ' l ' in the name ' turnetabard ' instead of a ' t ' on the last line of the folio. The written space is c.182 x 112 mm and the script is anglicana formata.
