Central to the slide is a map of Italy, this is surrounded by a number of scenes labelled "A Spiritual Awakening in Modern Italy". The first scene is of a volcanic eruption; the second of a boat in front of a building; the third, a photograph of "Count Guicciardini"; the fourth a drawing of two men and two women praying in front of a stone figure; the fifth, of a man walking through a forest titled "Italian Evangelist exiled on account of his faith"; the sixth of a boat on a canal, between buildings [possibly Venice]. Handwritten label on the front of slide states: "Northern Italy".
