The scene consists of a background in which a number of people are seated in a circle, while in the foreground three men in western dress and pith helmets hold hands. The slide represents the events of February 1888 when Charles Swan and W.L. Faulkener met up with Frederick Stanley Arnot in Garenganze in what is now the Democratic Republic of Congo. Handwritten label on the front states: 'Arnot.Swans Foulknor. meet Sang together. Jesus shall reign'.
