Map: Middlesex. Monochrome map with very rich detail including cities, place names and rivers. The title is presented in a plain cartouche, bottom right. Beside this is a table indicating 'Reference to the Hundreds'. There is a simple compass rose at top left. Latitude and longitude are marked around the edges. Bottom centre is a scale bar showing: 'British Statute Miles 69 to a Degree'. Along the bottom left is printed: 'Haywood del.' Centre is printed: 'Engraved for John Harrison, No. 115 Newgate Street, as the Act directs, Sept. 1st. 1787'. Bottom right is printed: 'Sudlow Sculp.'
