Map: Hertfordshire. Bottom right corner of map showing Hertfordshire where it borders with Middlesex and Essex. Very rich detail includes roads and place names. Monochrome with simple decorative edging with latitude and longitude angles marked. An 'Explanation' of features is provided including such things as names of Hundreds, houses, gentlemens parks, nursery grounds and gardens, canals and turnpikes. There is a scale bar showing statute miles and furlongs. The Greenwich meridian line is shown left of centre. Along the bottom is printed: 'London. April 10 1822: Published by A Bryant, 27 Gt.
