Description: 
Map: County of Bedfordshire. Highly coloured long narrow map with very rich detail including cities, place names and rivers. Woods and buildings are illustrated. Borders are marked in different colours. The title is presented in a cartouche shaped like a banner. The map features five coats of arms: three of the Dukes of Bedford: John Plantaginet; George Nevill and Jesper of Hatfield, and two of the Earls of Bedford: Ingelram Coucy and John Ruffel. Bottom left is a scale decorated with a cherub holding a pair of dividers and bottom right a Union crest. Septentrio, Meridies, Oriens, Occidens (Latin for North, South, East and West) are printed around the edges.
