Treatises of different ages and styles. Part A, ff. 1-23: anonymous moral treatise containing good maxims, written in clear Maghribi hand of about 1700 AD. Part B, ff. 24-34:a treatise written in clear Naskhi hand concerning a man's intercourse with other people, specifically with kings and princes. Title: "Predilection of learned men for nobles and of nobles for learned"; the author is Ibnu-l Jauzi. Part C, ff. 35b-39: a treatise on jurisprudence, written in clear Maghribi hand of about A.D. 1650, entitled "Revision of the chapters on the science of first principles". Part D, ff. 40b-96 contain verbs in Persian and Hindustani, with translations in Portuguese; written in clear Ta'lik, probably in the neighbourhood of Goa, about A.D. 1670. Part E, ff. 100-105 contain in Portuguese, the 'Regra geral pera saber coniugar os verbos persios'. On the first flyleaf there is the name of S.H. Lewin with the date 1824, and the inscription "Code MSS 1293, 5/6.
