Description: 
Plan of the ground floor of Dunham Massey Hall before the restoration. The plan shows all principal rooms around the Central Courtyard, and the domestic offices around the Kitchen Courtyard. All rooms are labelled. There are several annotations in the hand of Lord Stamford indicating possible changes in the use of rooms: "Library?" (struck through) in the School Room and Waiting Room, "D. room" in the Morning Room [now Chintz Drawing Room], "Entrance Hall" in the Dining Room [now Green Saloon], "B[illiard] room?" in the Small Drawing Room.
