Photograph album presented to C. P. Scott by his staff. The photographs in the album were taken in 1921 to mark the centenary of the Manchester Guardian and C.P. Scott’s fiftieth year as editor. They include all of the staff working for the newspaper at the time and are believed to have been taken by Walter Doughty who was the paper’s first staff photographer. Doughty himself appears in the album, pictured with three others in an unidentified department.
