Description:
A Volume of engravings by Marcantonio Raimondi and others. The volume was originally part of the Spencer Collection that came to the Rylands from Althorp House in 1892. Prints contained in the album are by Raimondi and a number of other printmakers, including Agostino Veneziano and Jacopo Caraglio. The engravings include a set of copies of Albrecht Dürer's 'Small Passion', a set on the 'Fable of Cupid and Psyche', two versions of the 'Massacre of the Innocents' and 'Stregozzo' or the 'Witches' Procession'.
