Temperance movement cuttings book: cuttings collected from various Temperance movement publications. Illustrations depict the physical and moral consequences of drinking alcohol. The page is dominated by three large hand-coloured cuttings. The first cutting is titled 'Seeing Him Home' and depicts a drunkard being escorted home by the Devil and Serjeant Death. The second cutting is titled 'Pale Ale' and depicts a gentleman in bed; probably nursing a hangover. The bedroom is strewn with with his clothes and newspapers. The third cutting has no title and depicts a man with a reddened face, seemingly offering his tankard to the other gentleman; whom is refusing the offer.
