Description:
A monochrome tall shaded drawing of a statue of a woman. There are two angels at her head and two dogs at her feet. Her hands are clasped in prayer. In the top right corner is printed: 'Vol II. Plate XXX.' At centre top is printed: 'Plate II'. The title below the image says: 'The figure of Aveline Countess of Lancaster, cumbent on her monument on the North side of the Altar in Westminster Abbey. Below the frame is printed: 'Sumptibus Societatis Antiquar Londini' then 'Published as the Act directs, April 23, 1780'. Finally in the bottom right corner is printed: 'J Basire del et Sc.'.
