5 November 1645: Parliament orders a day of Thanksgiving for deliverance from the Gunpowder Plot in 1605, as well as for God's mercies in defeating the enemy forces. An additional sentence written lengthways in the outer margin notes that on 'this day many Popish pictures some of which was taken at Bazing House were burnt in Cheapsid'.
