Description:
Engraving facing the title page, the arms of Edward VI. Arms: The shield is quartered, first and fourth: Azure three fleur-de-lys. Second and third: Gules three lions passant guardant. The Royal crown appears on top of the shield, with the motto scroll 'Vivat Rex'. The motto around the shield is 'Honi soit qui mal y pense', that of the Order of the Garter. Arms supported by two columns, and under the arms is printed 'Feare God and honour the Kinge'.
