Description:
Dante Alighieri 'La Commedia' printed by Bonino Bonini with Commentator. This is the first edition to have an extended series of illustrations for the poem. Contains Par. 5.100 - Par. 5.125 and Commentator by Cristoforo Landino on Par. 5. The text of the poem is found on the left hand side of the page, surrounded by the Commentator. There is some annotation in the right-hand margin (which has been cut due to rebinding) and the incorrect canto number appears at the top of the page.
