Description: 
Pamphlet detailing a riot in Barbados which resulted in the destruction of the Wesleyan chapel and Mission House. The pamphlet refers to an earlier letter written by Mr Shrewsbury and Mr Larcum which has been subsequently misrepresented with the deliberate aim of causing unrest in Barbados. The pamphlet quotes a new letter from Mr Shrewsbury to the committee. It his second letter concerning the riot and is from St Vincent's written October 29th 1823. Double columns.
