Formal group shot of women, one row seated and two rows standing. In the background there are boxes labelled W&AG [with an anchor motif]. Above the group are signs stating S.W.R. and Midland. W&A Gilbey, formed in 1857, were originally wine merchants and became one of the largest drinks firms in the world after establishing a gin distillery in Camden in 1871.They had a long association with the Camden Good Depot and in the late 1860s a daily train, known as the Gilbey Special, would leave to supply markets around the world.
