Recollections of Dunham. An album of photographs of Dunham Massey, Trafford, by one of Manchester’s most important Victorian photographers. It comprises a set of albumen prints including one apparently from a paper negative; two are signed J. Mudd & Son. All are mounted on heavy card and the final image has the date 1869–1882 added below in pencil. The photographs show the house as it was during the Platt family’s period of residence when it was rented out by George Harry Grey, 7th Earl of Stamford & Warrington.
