A water polo match in progress in the McDougall centre; Taken from the side of the pool (Now no longer in use) and angled towards the diving boards that stood at one end it shows one player apparently about to take a shot at goal with a defender rushing out to block the shot. On the reverse of the picture is written 'The University of Manchester, Swimming bath, water polo. 2nd copy has been given to Mr Evens? (8/1/45)'. Reproduced in 'Looking Back' volume 2, 2001.
