Description:
Windsor club on Oxford Road (since demolished). Taken at ground level from the corner of Burlington Street looking north east towards the Williamson building with the somewhat dilapidated looking club lying between this and the photographer. It was soon after this photograph was taken demolished as were the rest of the collection of commercial buildings that lay on the eastern side of Oxford Road between the central University buildings and the relatively new Science buildings along Brunswick Street. The area is now part of a landscaped strip bordering the Williamson and Simon buildings.
