The exterior of Brunswick garage (since demolished); shot at ground level from the northern side of Brunswick Street somewhere close to the junction with Dow Street angled south. It shows the frontage of the garage, which seems to consist of little more than a small yard and a single storey brick building, with a sign advertising the services available. The corner of the roof of the Zochonis building on Dover Street can just be seen rising above the chimney pots of the surrounding buildings in the background of the image south west of the garage. This was the only one of the buildings shown in the photograph to survive the clearances that preceded the construction of the Chemistry building on the eastern end of Brunswick Street. In the top right corner of the picture has been printed “No 9 OBJ 9 and 13” and on the reverse is a small hand drawn street plan and an attached note listing the makes and models of the vehicles that are visible in the image.
