F. C. Wilkinson, 1889-1979; a photograph of Dr Wilkinson holding up and looking at a transparent slide while sat at a desk and dressed in his lab coat. F. C. Wilkinson was the first Professor of Dentistry at the University of Manchester 1933-1950. On the reverse of the image there is an attached label on which is printed 'The University of Manchester Professor Wilkinson (Dental School)' and beneath this written in pencil is 'Nov 1944'.
