Bound in vellum, Franco-Flemish manuscript, picture-book produced in Northern France probably in the late 14th century with descriptive legends written on the pictures. Beautifully executed illustrations: pale purples, reds, and greens are the prevailing colours: faces are softly drawn and stippled. The grounds are left plain throughout; writing of the legends, in red and black.
