Written by a smaller hand but at the same date. Large initial 'S' in red ink introduces the text. Annotations in margin added at a later date.

The MS. has been twice numbered previously: firstly , 21-61, by a sixteenth-century hand, which also added a brief contents-list on a fly-leaf, showing that the missing ff. 1-20 contained the laws of Canute and Alfred; secondly, 46-87, by a seventeenth-century hand.
