Queen Isabella invades England; Edward II is taken prisoner by the Queen and Prince Edward. There is a legal note at the bottom of the page 'the xxith of Henry the viiith it is inacted that no bysshope archedecun Chaunselor comysary officyall or other maner of persone' with authority to 'probatte eny will' shall charge more than sixpence if the goods do not amount to more than £5'. The written space is c.197 x 118 mm in a good secretary hand which is the same throughout.
