Description:
The le Despenser family are back in favour with King Edward once again. There is writing running vertically down the right hand margin, which appears to be practice letters, then the phrase 'in the name of the father and of the sonne and of the holy gost'. The written space is c.197 x 118 mm in a good secretary hand which is the same throughout.
