Canticles. Incipiunt Cantica. Canticles from the Old Testament: the Canticle of the Prophet Isaiah and the Canticle of Ezechias. The verses are in two columns of 31 lines, in black Carolingian minuscule with titles in red uncials. The initial letter of each verse is capitalised and infilled with colour. Large decorated initials introduce each canticle; that of Isaiah begins with a large, foliage and interlace decorated 'C'. The orationes are added in the margin in the hand of the 12th century which has already appeared.
