Title to the psalter, occupying the whole of the page. Title is in large, coloured capitals. A large zoomorphic initial 'I' filled with panels of extremely fine interlace, acanthus strapwork and finials runs the length of the page. The remainder of the title is in decorated capitals, outlined in ink and painted in colour, diminishing in size down the page. 'In Christi nomine: incipit psalterium ab Hieronimo presbitero translatum'. The elements of the colour scheme are red, green, yellow, purple and black. The left margin of the leaf has been cut away, cropping the edge of the initial.
