'Hos fecit versus venabilis beda presbiter' and ending in the third column 'Vive deo felix et dic vale fratribus almis'. 2. A hymn for St. John the Evangelist, written as prose 'Sollempnis dies advenit qua virgo celos peciit...In trinitatis nomine te adoramus kirie Amen'. 3. Ten hexameter lines, being an interpretation of the parable of the Good Samaritan, 'Hinc miser exivit qui plurima dampna subivit...A viciis munda sacrati sanguinis unda'.
