Description:
Double page opening from 'Book of Religion and Empire', a controversial work on the superiority of Islam over other religions, mainly Christianity, Judaism and Parsism. The manuscript is written in clear Naskhi characters with nineteen lines to the page and contains numerous quotations from the Old and New Testaments. The headings of the chapters are in thick black characters. Numerous annotations in the outer margin of folio 50b running in a different direction to the main body of text.
