Tale of Sir Topas: the script is in black and red ink and lines and borders are ruled in black. In the text there is an illuminated initial 'N' on blue grounds with short marginal sprays. There are 36-38 lines per page. Written in England in one hand, the dialect and spelling include a significant number of West Midland and North Midland forms.
