Epistle of Paul to the Romans: the end of chapter sixteen. Red rubrication and a pen-flourished initial 'C' in red and blue ink introduces the prologue to the epistle of St. Paul to the Corinthians. Red rubrication and a decorated initial 'P' with a floral infill on a burnished gold background introduces the first chapter of the epistle. I-shaped border with floriate extensions terminating in acanthus leaves, ivy leaves, bezants, etc.
