Proverbs 1 : 1 - 14 ' sende thou lot with us, oo purs be of '. The abbreviated running title ' P(ro)uerbis ' appears in the top margin in red rubrication. A heavily embellished foliate and floral letter ' T ' in red and blue ink with gold illumination introduces the first chapter. Red, green and blue ink foliate and floral decorations with gold illuminations appear in all margins and between the columns. One of the illuminated decorations in the bottom margin appears to have been excised, and a repair has been made on the recto. There is red ink underlining of some words or phrases in the text. The written space is 160 x 108 mm. There are two columns of text, each having 24 lines.
