Description:

3 Kings 22 : 42 - 54 ' whiche his fadir hadde do '. Part of the running title ' of kingis ' appears in red rubrication at the top of the folio. A faint folio number 83 is written in pencil in the top right margin. ' Here eendith the thrydde book of kyngis ' is written at the foot of the second column in red ink. There are small human and animal grotesques on some of the letters extending into the margins. Heavy inkwork from the verso shows through in the margins and a repair has been made to the vellum where an illuminated decoration has been cut out of the verso. The written space is 160 x 108 mm. There are two columns of text, each having 24 lines.
