Description: 
2 Kings 1 : 1 - 10 ' that was in his heed '. The running title ' secunde book of kingis ' appears in red rubrication at the top of the folio. Red rubrication and an illuminated initial ' F ', beautifully and lavishly decorated with different coloured inks, introduce the first chapter of the second book of Kings. The written space is 160 x 108 mm. There are two columns of text, each having 24 lines, which are surrounded by stylised floral decorations and curlicues in different coloured inks and gold illumination.
