Full bound in black leather, decorated with fleur-de-lis blind tooling. There are four ornamental silver book corners, bosses and a centrepiece. The centrepiece has the Royal coat of arms of Elizabeth I and is dated 1560. Also visible are two clasps. The volume is gilded with gauffered edges.
