Siege of Troy. Book five: Lydgate tells us that after relating the ten year story of the siege of Troy he has no more Latin to translate. Lydgate tells us about Henry V, conquerer of Normandy, who after the death of Charles VI will be King of France. Lydgate hopes that there will then be peace between England and France. Henry will also marry Princess Katherine of France (Catherine of Valois) to unite the two countries. The written space is 305 x 200 mm, 2 columns and 44 lines and the script is anglicana formata by two hands.
