Description:
|
Siege of Troy. Book five: Circe can change men into beasts and Ulysses (Odysseus) stays with her on her island and has a son with her. After a year Ulysses leaves Circe and his ship is blown to the island of her sister Calypha (Calypso?) where he is held again for a time until he escapes. Ulysses is driven to the dangerous whirlpool of Charybdis which has sirens and mermaids who try to lure sailors to their deaths. The written space is 305 x 200 mm, 2 columns and 44 lines and the script is anglicana formata by two hands.
