Description:
|
Siege of Troy. Book four: Helen is handed back to Menelaus and the Greeks, full of deceit, ask the Trojans to take the brass horse into Troy as an offering to Pallas (Minerva) to aid their swift journey home. Priam agrees, even pulling down a city wall to get the horse into the city. The Trojans rejoice that peace has finally been achieved. The written space is 305 x 200 mm, 2 columns and 44 lines and the script is anglicana formata by two hands.
