Description:
|
Siege of Troy. Book four: Achilles and Menon fight but are separated in the battle. After the day's battle Achilles tells his Myrmidons to surround Menon as they did Troilus in the next day's battle. The next day the Myrmidons isolate Menon and Achilles kills him, although this time he is wounded himself. Homer is once again remonstrated with for painting such a heroic picture of Achilles. The written space is 305 x 200 mm, 2 columns and 44 lines and the script is anglicana formata by two hands.
