Description:
Siege of Troy. Book one: Castor is wounded in battle and rescued by his brother Pollux. King Laomedon and his Trojans manage to drive the Greek forces back but then realise that the city of Troy (which lies behind them) has been taken by the Greeks, who are advancing on them from the rear led by the mighty Hercules (Heracles). There is an illuminated initial 'A' in the text. The written space is 305 x 200 mm, 2 columns and 44 lines and the script is anglicana formata by two hands.
