|
Siege of Troy. Book one: King Peleus (Pelias?) suggests that Jason increases his kudos by undertaking a quest for the golden fleece. Jason takes the King's advice and gathers men to accompany him, including the mighty Hercules (Heracles). There is an illuminated initial 'W' in the text. The written space is 305 x 200 mm, 2 columns and 44 lines and the script is anglicana formata by two hands.
