Description:
Edmund of Woodstock, 1st Earl of Kent and half-brother of Edward II, is arrested and sentenced to death and beheaded outside Winchester Castle. Roger Mortimer is taken from Nottingham Castle and eventually condemned to death for all his treachery. Rubrication in red ink and pen-flourished initials introduce the stories. The written space is 175 x 135 mm in several secretary hands throughout the manuscript.
