Queen Isabella and Roger Mortimer are very unpopular in their position as regents to the young Edward III. Edward III visits France and Mortimer is made the Earl of March. Rubrication in red ink and pen-flourished initials introduce the stories. The written space is 175 x 135 mm in several secretary hands throughout the manuscript.
