The stories of how Robert the Bruce was defeated in battle by Edward I, and how John Wallace, the brother of William, was captured and put to death. Then follows the story of the death of Edward I and the prophecies of Merlin regarding his reign. Rubrication in red ink and pen-flourished initials introduce the stories. The written space is 175 x 135 mm in several secretary hands throughout the manuscript.
