The preceding 21 lines, 'Thanne kyng Aleyn did sende for the Clergie of his londe...vic lxxix' are probably derived from Geoffrey of Monmouth. There is some red rubrication and a pen-flourished initial 'I' in red ink. The script is mainly secretary.
