The words ' Edward 3 ' are written in the top margin. The tale of the letter from Edmund Woodstock to his brother Edward II telling him of an army waiting to restore him to the throne, and how Queen Isabelle hears of it. Catchword ' and vppon þat ' in the bottom right corner of the folio. The written space is c.182 x 112 mm and the script is anglicana formata.
