Description:
The words ' Edward I ' are written in the top margin, and ' Edward 2 ' in the left margin. The tale of how Merlin's prophecies about King Edward were true. Red rubrication and an illuminated initial ' A ' introduce the tale of how King Edward II was crowned, and how he gave land to Piers of Gavaston, and imprisoned Sir Walter of Langeton, for testifying against him during the time of the Trailbaston. The written space is c.182 x 112 mm and the script is anglicana formata.
