allas þe sorwe for he shal dye þorugh his broþ(er)es swerde and after shal þe lande falle to þe forseyde lambe þat shal gou(er)ne þe lande in pees al his lyfes tyme and after he shal dye and þ(e) land be fulfilled wiþ all maner good After þis lamb shal come a Moldworpe cursed of goddes mouth a caytif coward as an hare he shal haue an elderlich skyn as a goot and veniaunce schal falle vppon him for synne . Jn þe ferste ȝere of his regne he shal haue of alle good gret plente in his lande and toward him also and in his lande he shal haue grete preisyng til þe time þat he shal soffre his peple leuen in to muche pride wiþoute chastisinge : wherfore god wile be wroth // þan shal arisen vp a dragou(~) of þ(e). north. þat shal ben ful fers and shal meue werre aȝens þe for- sayde Moldwerpe and shal ȝeue him bataile oppon a ston. þis dragou(~) shal gadre aȝen in to his companye a wolf þat shal come out of þe west þat shal biginne werre aȝen(s) þe forsaide Moldwerpe in his syde and so shullen þe dra goun & he bynde hire tailes togider // þan shal come a lyoun(~) out of Jrlande þat shal falle in componye w(t) ham and þanne shal tremble þe lande þat þanne shal be cal- led Engeland as an aspene lef / and in þat tyme shullen casteles ben felde a doun(~) oppon Thamyse and it shal se- men þat Seuerne shal ben drye for þe bodyes þat shul len falle ded þ(er)inne // þe .iiij. chief floodes of Engelonde shullen renne in blood and gret drede shal ben and anguissh þat shulle arisen after þe Modewarpe shal fle for drede & þe dragoun þe lyoun and þe wolf him shulle dryuen away and þe lande shal ben wiþoute ham and þe Moldwarp shal haue no maner poer sauf onely a ship wherto he may wen- de and after þat he shal gon to londe whanne þe see is wiþdrawe // and after þat . he shal ȝeue þe þridde part of his lande for to haue þe fourþe part in pees and reste & after he shal lyue in sorwe al his lyfes tyme. and in his
