Description:
Gospel of John: chapters thirteen and fourteen. A pen-flourished initial 'B' in blue and red ink introduces the next chapter. Jesus tells the disciples that one of them will betray him. The disciples ask who will be the one to betray him and Jesus gives Judas Iscariot wetted bread as a sign that it will be him. Jesus then tells Peter that he will deny him three times before the cock crows. The written space is c. 207 x 133 mm in two columns.
